Hallo
Jan,
Here is the chart you sent but with better colors.
I used GIMP (auto-levels).
GNU Image Manipulation Program, powerful opensource graphics editing, replacement for Photshop its free.

Dear
Men and Women of the Telegraph Key,
I have just placed on my web site a True Type (Windows) font for a
Telegrapher's MILL which I made by scanning my ROYAL (USA) Typewriter with a
Telegrapher's keyboard - slashed zero and so forth!
You are welcome to non-commercial use of this font.
http://www.qsl.net/n1ea/MILL.ttf
Save the file to the desktop, then go to CONTROL PANEL and find FONTS and
use the applet (small application) to install the font.
Good Luck!

I have a copy of "A Captain and How He is Seen by Different Crew Members"..............
but
not the one of the entire ship - which is funnier!
R/O of LMNO - nice, eh? Captain on bridge giving the finger to the pilot.
We had pilots who used to eat white bread, butter, sugar and radishes.
Jan Sanders drew the picture of the Captain with messages just coming endlessly out of his mouth.
LMNO was the collective call sign of all Norwegian ships.
It's on the radio station under the radio room clock.
(To our knowledge there is no agreement between the captain of the MS. Prinsendam and the captain of the LMNO, Jan CLQ)

A friend sent me a link to a National Film Board of Canada film.........
made in the mid 1990's telling the story of black Pullman porters in Canada.
It is a very well done film.
(I have yet to see a bad film from NFB Canada and I've been watching them since the 1960's as my father ran a film library out of our house).
It is about an hour long.

“Rebirth of the Portage Flyer”
For many years the Portage Flyer train ran in Pinafore Park in St. Thomas, ON before it was hauled back to Huntsville in 1985.
Our home faced Pinafore Park, and my kids and I had many a ride on the train, run by Don Broadbear.
The engine’s whistle reminded me of my life, living, until age 17, in a railroad station.
I was sorry to see the train leave St. Thomas, but subsequently my husband and I visited it in Huntsville, where we helped Russ Nicholls, the author, at a Morse demo in the Huntsville and Lake of Bays Railway Station.
