How
about Larsen E. Rapp's old call WIOU?
Perfect one for a monk would be :
N0SEX
Rem:
Don't need to be a monk for that one... just married for too many decades.
AB9PP . at my age (60) I don't need any reminders of my urinary problems ..
I
don't see anything wrong with that call...
I have had mine since I upgraded 20 years agooooooo
JohnPaul/AB4PP
AB0M -- of course we all called him "A-Bomb"...
Heard S55S and EE5E many dits
Could

Or HS5HHH (24 dits?)
Question
: So which are vanity calls?
------------------------------------
Answer : N0CLU
Guess there could be a bunch of them
Referring
back to a recent thread please spare a thought for this poor guy in the
Republic of Kazakhstan:- UP3KHZ.
Apparently he has never heard a single reply to any of his CW CQs !!!

The
wireless telegraph is not difficult to understand.
The ordinary telegraph is like a very long cat.
You pull the tail in New York, and it meows in Los Angeles.
The wireless is the same, only without the cat.

In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply.
If you don't have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it.
If you can't find any Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense.
Is
Common Sense divine?

Night of the Night IX video.
De allerlaatste CW uitzending van RCA Radiomarine Station KPH
De laatste CW uitzending van RCA Radiomarine Station KPH
Hi All,
If you just want to see the YL operating her bug it starts about 17 minutes into the video and runs for about 11
Maybe others can watch the video and make comments.......
I don't know if anyone is into this or not, but every year July 12, KPH and other maritime shore stations get on the air.
There is a video on YouTube of this years event.
I won't give away any secrets so you'll have to watch it catch it.
There is a segment where a YL is sending code on a bug which may interest some.

:
Just keep in mind guys that Denice is a PROFESSIONAL radiotelegraph operator,
for many years she was one of the operators at KPH, one of
the major maritime shore stations, until it closed when Morse Code was
terminated in the Merchant Marine service
Bear in mind, she's now using her bug only ocassionally, and not for 8 hours a
day every day like she did when it was her work.
